Ryan's First Day of School!!!!

So yesterday Ryan went to Kindergarten. The first day was just an intro open house day and then the real first day was today! I took way too many pictures but I am okay with that so I hope ya'll are too!!!!

He loved school and was so excited to go back today, I think tomorrow I will let him ride the bus! Twenty min after we dropped him off this morning Olivia asked if we could go back to see what Ryan was doing! Just a note, there were no tears from any of us we were all too excited!

MIA

So I don't even have a good reason for not blogging this summer we haven't been super busy I just don't take a lot of pictures so then I don't blog! So I will just run down a few of our basic things from this summer I can think of! In June we went camping a few times and it was my birthday which we went camping for!

In July Chris did the Allen Butler Crit and I had Jason's kids with me for the night so we went to see him race and they came around and gave all of the kids shirts but they only had big ones!!!
Then at the end of July we had a family reunion, at the campsite there was a splash park which the kids loved!!!



We also did a small trip to Boise and stayed with our friends who deserted to the other side of the state!!! Ryan learned how to ride his bike without training wheels. And I am sure a lot of other things happened which I can't think of right now but that is our summer in a nut shell! We are gearing up for fall Chris starts his masters program this month with a trip to Texas and Ryan will be starting Kindergarten this fall so we will have a busy end of the year! We are good, happy, and healthy and hope you all are too!

Clamming

We went clamming on the Washington coast last month and while I didn't get any pictures of the actual clamming process since we were busy clamming but I did get some pics of the fun that we had while we were down there!

Long Beach, WA

Flying kites we got Olivia and Ryan these miniature kites so that it was easier for them. Unfortunately if you let go of one they were too lite and the flew away but they had a lot of fun! Chris and Ryan flying kites! We also bought some $1 kites so if the little ones broke we had extras!

Then when they were done with the kites ScottE, Ryan, and Elena made a volcano in the sand!

Monster Trucks!!!!

So as you may recall for Ryan's birthday he got tickets to the monster truck rally! He also got a few of the monster truck that were there that night so that he would have someone to cheer for! So here are some pics!!

Ryan loved it and even though it lasted over 3 1/2 hours he loved the whole thing and I have been hearing about parts of it ever since!
While the boys were gone Livvy and I had a girls night we went shopping, then out to dinner at a Thai restaurant and then home to watch Enchanted and eat popcorn!!!

Easter!

So for some reason i didn't get any pics of us dying eggs and this doesn't show the colors very well but this was the only pics I got of the eggs. We didn't do very many because I figured the more eggs you did the bigger chance for a big mess!

We had a great day stayed home (thus Olivia's lovely hair!) and watched conference! We had a nice big ham dinner with deviled eggs super yummy!
