Olivia's First Hair Cut
Olivia had her very first haircut today. I got lucky with her and her hair grew in fairly evenly and the ends were curly so it hid any unevenness but it started to look a little stragley so I decided it needed to be cut. Just a little though she has such long hair and I am hoping we haven't lost her cute ringlets at the end!

Before shot when it was dry so you can see her curls!
Getting ready to get it cut
during
after shot the we only cut about 2 1/2 inches so not a ton but it looks healthier now. The bottom is already starting to curl under so I am hoping her ringlets will return.

Christmas!
Christmas Eve presents Ryan got Toy Story, Olivia got princesses and Christopher got Superman!

Olivia Christmas morning we could hear the kids whispering by the door so we waited for them to knock to tell us they were awake but they never did so we gave it about 5 mins and went in but they were both back in bed awake but in bed!

The kids with their haul, I realized later that we didn't get any pics of Christopher and I on Christmas morning oops!

Putting up the Christmas tree finally!
We finally put up the Christmas tree last night, we had planned on moving back upstairs so we were going to wait until we did that to put one up then Chris got a full time job offer in IF that is pretty much going to require us to move there so we decided to stay in the basement instead of moving twice in a month. Anyway so after all of that we decided to just go get a fake tree that was marked down to $20 instead of getting a real one that would cost more than that. So we got a fake one with the promise that we would never use it again! So here are some pictures of us putting up the Christmas tree!

New Moon Party!
So on Friday night a bunch of my girl friends from high school go together for a sleep over party and to watch New Moon, this was a no kids, no husbands party (we did make an exception for Julie cause it was at her house!) We stay up until after 6:30am and just talked and had fun and caught up it was awesome! Thanks Jules for hosting and thanks Chris (Julie's husband) for putting up with us. And thanks all of the other great husbands for making it possible for us to all come! (Jacqui's husband surprised her and got the night off with out telling her and then just had me come and pick her up at the house and kidnap her!) And no we are not all psyco Twilight fans (although we totally love the movie) the movie was just a good excuse to get everyone together!
Right before the movie started, (really bad quality because it is a cell camera!)
After the movie!

After the movie we went to Macey's quick to say hi to my cute sis who was working and she took a pic of us (again cell phone camera so not the best quality)
We woke up Julie's poor husband at 2:30 to take pictures he was awesome!
More pics from 2:30am
You have to have a silly pic especially since being all back together makes us act like we were in high school!
Julie trying to take a pic of all of us by herself! (good thing she has long arms)

Kids in Costume
We went to a ward party on Friday night and Olivia was Cinderella and gorgeous but I didn't get and picture and by Saturday she wanted to be a lady bug so we pulled this costume our and went trick or treating in Old Town with the cousins and at the mall. Neither Camille or I remembered to get pics of all the kids together so I just have my 2! Chris also dressed up as a cereal killer but I didn't end up with a picture of that!

Pumpkins
Okay so I am a boring mom and I really don't like carving pumpkins. Chris likes to do it and like to do elaborate ones but me not so much and since I am the one that would have to help the kiddos carve we went a different route this year!
Chris carving his pumpkin while the kids paint theirs Olivia got an orange pumpkin and wanted to paint it pink and Ryan got a green pumpkin and wanted to paint it orange!
Ryan and Olivia painting!

Then for faces we bought some Mr. Potato head like pieces and the kids picked out faces for their pumpkins (so much easier than carving a face in or even painting a face on.)
The finished masterpieces!
The real personalities shining through!
I will post some pictures of Chris's when he is finished!

Happy Late Birthday Olivia!
So Olivia's birthday was on Friday but we were out of town all weekend so I had to wait to do a post until today. She turned 3 years old and is getting so grown up! We were in Montpelier and Logan so we gathered family in both places and had 2 mini parties. First are some pictures of birthdays past then I'll post some of her from her birthday!!!
This is her actual birth day

Third birthday, we were in Logan so I took a few pics of her at the Logan tabernacle.
Logan party, we were at a hotel room and didn't want to buy plates and forks for everyone so we got a small cake so she could blow out candles and and then had ice cream sandwiches for everyone!

2nd Birthday
Third birthday, we were in Logan so I took a few pics of her at the Logan tabernacle.
Daniel teaching her how to use the flashlight he gave her!
This is the present from Omi and Grandpa she is a little excited, it came with a purse and a comb and an apple and carrot to feed the horse!
After we got done in Logan and left dad, Omi, Grandpa and Uncle Bubba at the hotel to prepare for the Lotoja we came back to Grandma and Grandpa's house and opened a few more presents and had a real cake! I didn't have time to make one with all of the running around so we bought one at the store and since the birthday girl insisted on pink we found some pink sprinkles and pink writing gel to pink it up for her!
She got some waffle blocks from Christopher and I we have some at home but not enough for both Ryan and Olivia to build at the same time so I found these that are even girly colors. She loves them and is so good at building things with them!
So that was our fun day once I get some more pics I will do a Lotoja post!

update!
So I haven't posted a lot but that is because our summer has been kind of slow. When we do go and do things I don't ever remember to take pictures because we are busy having fun and pictureless posts aren't very much fun! We have been trying to sell our house so we can move closer to Chris's new job, so we have moved into our basement apt. to give us a chance to fix up the upstairs and make it more sellable. One nice thing is the basement is a lot cooler than the upstairs so we save money not having to run an ac unit! We put our house on the market a week ago and we already have someone that wants it he is just having problems getting a loan so hopefully that will all work out and we can move. We will also have to find a home up there but it will be good, I hope! So if you know anyone that wants to buy a house in our area let us know it is perfect for starving students because you can rent out the basement and let it pay more than half of you mortgage! We do have a blog specifically for our house but I don't want it connected to this blog as it scares me to put our address out there where it can easily be connected to our kids but just shoot me an email or a comment and I can give you the info for that blog if you are interested!
Anyways here are a few pics that I do have of the last few weeks just to liven this post up!
This is Olivia not long after we moved downstairs thus the empty dresser. She decided to sleep on top of the dresser! She did have a bed available to her but apparently this was more fun! I was a little nervous that she would wake up and fall off, but she had been such a stinker to go to sleep that I just put a few pillows down under her and hoped she wouldn't get hurt. (she didn't)
The kids have been making forts almost everyday luckily the living room area downstairs is big enough that it isn't a problem!
This is the Chubbuck days parade that we went to I guess the kids have been to a lot of parades this year because they knew exactly what to do when the flag came by, off went the hats and they put their hands on their hearts!

Winward Family Reunion!
We had the Winward family reunion this last weekend and it was so much fun. My grandparents had 12 kids and none of them were shy about having kids so we have quite the group at these reunions. There were over 200 people at this one and we have so much fun. We went to a great campground in Paradise, UT it was perfect! Anyway here are so pics I didn't have my camera so I stole them from my mom!
Here is Grandpa Winward showing off his father's day present!
Daniel eating ice cream! Aren't you supposed to be happier than that with an ice cream cone in your hand?
Ryan on the slip and slide he wasn't a big fan of throwing himself at the ground so he just ran threw it and then sat in the water at the end! For some of the other little ones who didn't get the hang of slipping down the whole slide I would take them and throw them down the slide!
Ryan helping Becca stay warm! I love this pic!
Olivia and Becca fishing together!
Becca, Olivia, Elena, and Ryan in their new cowboy hat that they got at the fish pond! They are all saying howdy! Well except Livvy I think she was about ready for a nap!

This is all of the Eagle Scouts that were at the reunion! All of my Grandpa Winwards sons and all of his grandsons became Eagle Scouts! Now also have some great grandsons that have received their Eagles as well. This picture also includes the in laws and there are at least 20 missing! What a great heritage to show to my son to encourage him to follow in their footsteps!
