6 Weeks

So I am 6 weeks today and that is supposedly when morning sickness is supposed to set in.  I have been experiencing light morning sickness up until now but I fear it is starting to hit harder.  When I was pregnant with Ryan is was 6 weeks to the day that I started puking and didn't stop until I was well out of the first trimester.  I have already been sicker today than I have been thus far but hopefully it will be the same as it was with Olivia and I will just be sick and not throwing up!

Yeah!

I got my appt. moved up to Nov. 8th!  Yeah that is 10 days of less stressing out and now I will be 10 1/2 weeks for this appt in stead of 12 which is good because it is supposed to be my 10 week appt!

First Appointment

I had my first Dr. appt today.  It was just a confirmation appt and for me if I had any questions which since this isn't my first time not a lot of questions.  I will have my first ultrasound on Nov. 17 so that is when we will find out about the whole twin thing.  Chris is positive there is only one in there and quite frankly I think he is right, but still it would be cool!  He did have my due date as June 3rd instead of the first like all of the due date calculators that I have but he still had me at 5 weeks and 5 days so kind of weird.  He said they will probably go by the ultrasound to figure my actual due date!  So that is all for now and I probably won't have any more updates until the ultrasound and the plan currently is not to tell anyone until after that so we are thinking on Thanksgiving!

Sick already!

So I have been dealing with morning sickness already but it isn't too terrible yet.  Hopefully it won't get bad but I didn't get sick at all with Ryan until about week six so hopefully it will be better than that!  The real problem is I have a nasty cold and of course I can't take any medicine at this stage so I am a little miserable with that and this week was my first week to teach preschool not the best week to start but now I don't have to do it again for 6 weeks!    I also have my first Dr.'s appt on Monday the 4th I am pretty sure it is just a confirmation appt so I will just have to pee in a cup and go home.  I almost wish they were doing the blood test though because if my HCG numbers are high that could mean twins!!!  I am already popping a little I have been doing a weight loss program for the last few months where I have been doing measurements every week and while I lost just over a pound this week my waist measurement was up 1.5 inches.  I am really trying to not get too anxious for twins but that would be really nice!

Positive Test

I am doing this blog because I am planning on not telling about this pregnancy for awhile and if you know me that will kill me!  So this is my way of telling without anyone actually knowing and I will make this blog not private when we decide to tell!  Anyway today I got a positive pregnancy test.   I am 4 days late and so have been taking pregnancy tests all week but no positive.  I got my IUD out just over a month ago so that may have screwed up my cycle so I don't really know when I am due.  The official due date will probably be June 1st but we will know more when I have my first ultrasound hopefully at 10 weeks!  Also hoping for twins but again it will be awhile before we find that out!  Right now I am just excited to finally have a positive test and ready to embark on this new adventure more than 4 years after I did this last!!!

Olivia's birthday!!!

So Olivia's birthday was on Saturday, however it was also the Lotoja on Saturday which meant we spent the day in Montpelier and Chris was gone most of the day so we gave Liv one present and then did the rest of her birthday on Sunday with Omi and Grandpa Wertz and Chris.

Olivia with her cake and her new dress, she requested a strawberry cake that was chocolate so I went all out and made a chocolate cake with strawberry jello in it and a strawberry jello and whipped cream frosting and of course strawberries on top!

Olivia asked for a puppy and so we used Jason and Camille's idea and bought her this one! Much easier to take care of!
This is the big recliner pillow and new blanket Olivia got they are so comfy and soft!!!! She got all together too much but that is what happens when the back to school sales are right by her birthday!
