18 Months

So according to Livvy's little counter she is 1 year 5 months and 4 weeks old which seems like it should be 18 months old but no dice not until tomorrow, it did have me confused yesterday though I honestely that she was turning 18 months old today until Chris set me straight. Guess I shouldn't believe every thing I see on the internet. Also with that lovely 18 month "birthday" coming up it means nursery. Actually Livvy has been going for a while and has been fine but for about the last 2 weeks she won't even let me set her down without screaming which is totally typical so now that I can actually take her to nursery legally she won't go crazy baby!

Obviously this picture isn't from nursery but it is about the same reaction I get if I try to put her down. (don't worry I don't usually just sit and take pics of my kids when they are crying but pictures ususally make her happier so I tried this tactic, it did work after a while but I now have about 5 pictures of crying Livvy)

fun pics

Livvy's cute full ponytail

Ryan and Olivia on the snow pile in the back yard. This is from President's day less than a month ago and now all that is left of our snow is just a small mound left from this pile. Still cold just no snow.

Ryan getting covered by snow.

Livvy with her snow "blanket" Chris burried both kids under the snow they thought it was the funnest thing.

Pink Eye

So Olivia had pink eye 2 weeks ago an she just had a moderate case lasted 2 maybe 3 days. Unfortunately she gave it to me and I have had it for over a week now. It is the worst thing ever and on top of it just not feeling good trying to be careful not to pass it on to anybody, but I think I am finally through it I may even be able to wear contacts tomorrow which is awesome I really hate glasses. Anyways so I also found out today that my sister in law Camille is expecting. Now every time Camille has been pregnant so have I our first kids are 4 days apart and our second kids are 11 days but they were due on the exact same day. So I am all excited for Camille and then start to get a little nervous, so I start counting days and get a little more nervous, so I immediately took a pregnancy test (I keep several of these on hand since I get pregnant a lot) Luckily it was negative but I was really a little nervous for a min there. SO yeah no baby for me at lots of congrats and boy vibes to Jason and Camille.

Bloglines

okay so I know this is going to be a repeat for some people cause Carrie posted it a few weeks ago and half the people on my blog list are on hers but for the other half this has been very useful and a time saver. Anyways I am talking about bloglines. This is a website where you can put all of the blogs you check daily and it checks them for you and tells you which sites have new posts, it is pretty cool and for those of you that have a list a mile long of blogs you like to check out this is great cause now you know which ones have been updated. Anyways that is it for today. Have a great President's Day if you are like us and it means time off school and work!

Vegas part2

So we had so much fun in Vegas but I have no pictures cause although I actually remembered to bring my camera this time I always forgot it when we went anywhere. Chris has some on his phone so maybe I'll add some later. It was so nice no coats or kids. One night we just hit the strip and roamed I never realized how huge Caesar's Palace is holy cow enormous and we also hit the outlet malls that is always my favorite. While we were at one of the malls we got hit up to go to a timeshare meeting so we went and they gave us tickets to a show a free buffet and tickets to the top of the Stratoshere so that was a ton of fun. Crazily enough we hadn't been gone for a full day when Chris's mom called saying that Livvy was saying "Hi Daddy" and by the time we got back she was saying Mommy too. I know it doesn't sound like much for a 17 month old but we have been having real issues with her speech development, when she was 9 months old she was saying Hi Daddy but after that just stopped and until this weekend had no words at all. She will say things under her breath every once and a while but that is all. Anyway so we already have set up for an evaluation making sure nothing is wrong, but I just though it was ironic that the moment we leave she starts having break throughs. She'll still have the evaluation as soon as she turns 18 months cause she should have a lot more words than she does. Luckily from a previous evaluation we no there are no hearing issues as she does excellant on taking directions. Anyways so that was a snippet from our trip over all it was great, great weather, great food, great friends. Oh and now Chris and I have been introduced to IN-N-OUT BURGER I may just have to devote a whole other post to that!

Vegas

Yeah Chris and I are off to Vegas for the week. We are driving to BL tonight to drop the kids of at Chris's parents and then Chris and I leave tomorrow morning. Chris has a radiographic conferance down there this week so we are using it as an opportunity to get away from the kids. I am really excited I love my kids but I really believe that getting away as a couple every once in a while is important. Anyways I just wanted to flaunt my fun weekend where the weather gets above freezing. Hope you all have a good week!
